Hayley orrantia was born in America. She's primarily an actress, but also a songwriter and singer. A lot of people recognize her from her character in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular TV show 'The Goldbergs.' Her definition of herself is an artist first and foremost. She says that music was always her first passion. After she turned 12 years old, music became seriously enough to warrant professionally trained. In 2013, she picked up songwriting and recorded her debut album. Since then there has been no looking back. Orrantia is of Hispanic roots, however she was born in the USA. Despite the fact that she only spoke English growing up and had never been to Mexico Orrantia is happy with her Hispanic background. Her goal is to preserve it through the creation of Spanish songs, and also learning the language. The most famous of these songs is "Hasta Verte," a song was recorded by her in Spanish. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the debut episode of The X Factor. Orrantia was chosen from a YouTube video that she submitted and got four "yes" vote from the jury in the live audition stage in Seattle, Washington. Her initial audition was for solo performance, but during the "Hollywood Week" she was placed with three other female vocalists to form a trio during the remaining auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week in the live performances.
